These terms and conditions apply to every order placed on ukdesigner.uk. Please read them before placing an order. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Using our website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that is unlawful or harmful. The content of this website, including text, images, the UK Designer name and logo, is owned by or licensed to UK Designer and may not be copied without our permission.
3. Products
- We describe each product as accurately as we can, including its fibre content, fabric weight, fit and care instructions. Colours can look slightly different on different screens.
- Product images show the item for sale. Sizes and measurements are given in our size guide and are approximate.
- All products are for sale to consumers in the United Kingdom only.
4. Prices
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any VAT that applies.
- Delivery charges are shown on the product page, in our shipping policy and at checkout before you pay. No other charges are added.
- We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders you have already placed.
- Pricing errors: if we discover that a product was clearly listed at the wrong price, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of buying it at the correct price or cancelling your order for a full refund. We will not dispatch an order at a price we have not told you about.
5. Placing an order and how the contract is formed
- When you place an order, we send you an email confirming that we have received it. This confirmation is not acceptance of your order.
- The contract between you and UK Designer Collection Limited is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation email.
- We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline your order after payment, we refund you in full straight away.
6. Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by Shopify Payments. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout and listed in our payment policy. If you choose Klarna, Klarna's own terms also apply to your payment arrangement with Klarna.
7. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only, by Royal Mail. Delivery options, costs and times are set out in our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates. If we are unable to deliver within 30 days of your order, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund. Goods are at our risk until they are delivered to you.
8. Your right to cancel and our returns policy
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Our returns and refund policy gives you 30 days from delivery to return items, with return postage paid by us. To cancel or return, email support@ukdesigner.uk with your order number.
9. Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as set out in our returns and refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
10. Our liability
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are sold for domestic and private use.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or postal disruption. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you as soon as possible and you may cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid for goods not received.
12. Personal data
We use your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first. We aim to resolve complaints within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may refer it to an appropriate alternative dispute resolution provider or to the courts.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those on the website when you place it.
