Payment Policy

This page explains how payment works when you shop at ukdesigner.uk.

1. Payment methods we accept

Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments. At checkout you can pay with:

• Debit and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club and UnionPay.
• Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, where your device and browser support them. Shop Pay may offer eligible customers the option to pay in instalments; any instalment plan is provided under Shop Pay's own terms, which are shown before you confirm.
• Klarna: where offered at checkout. Klarna may let eligible customers pay later or spread the cost. Klarna decides eligibility, and Klarna's own terms apply. Late or missed Klarna payments may affect your ability to use Klarna and your credit score; read Klarna's terms before choosing it.

The payment options shown at checkout are the ones available for your order.

2. Currency and prices

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any VAT that applies. If your card is in another currency, your card provider converts the amount and may charge a fee.

3. When you are charged

Your payment is taken when you place your order. If we cannot fulfil your order, or an item is unavailable, we refund the amount for that item in full to your original payment method straight away.

4. Security

Checkout uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Card details are entered directly into Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 compliant checkout. We never see or store your full card number or security code. Some card payments may ask you to confirm with your bank (3D Secure) for added protection.

5. Payment problems

If your payment is declined, check that your card details and billing address are correct, or try another payment method. If the problem continues, contact your card provider or contact us.

6. Refunds

Refunds are made to the payment method used for the order. See our returns and refund policy for timings.

7. Fees

We do not charge any payment or card fees.
